Thermocouple Sensor Probes
The thermocouple sensor probes, used in all of Analysis Tech' s liquid heat sunk fixtures for measuring the case temperature, are now available as a separate product. These probes are specifically manufactured by Analysis Tech for measurement of case temperature or the temperature of any surface that is in contact with a heat sink. The benefit of these probes is that small non-coplanarity (surface curvature mismatch) will not influence the accuracy of the device case temperature measurement due to the spring compliance of the thermocouple tip. The spring-loaded tip has an embedded thermocouple bead which is pressed on to the device case/surface for an accurate surface temperature measurement. The insulating tip provides an ideal low-gradient temperature field in the vicinity of the thermocouple junction for accurate, reproducible case temperature measurements. The Tc Sensor Probe is available in two sizes: "Standard" and "Micro".

These probes are available in all thermocouple types. The thermocouple wire length is typically 12 inches. Order Tc-Sensor-X or Tc-MicroSensor-X where x is the desired thermocouple type.
