These upgrade paths allow customers to obtain the convenience, performance and value of the the Analysis Tech, Inc. Phase 12 Semiconductor Thermal Analyzer. In this way, we make it easy and affordable for our customers to stay up-to-date with the latest technology available. By providing our customers with the most recent hardware and software offerings, we can allow them to always remain on the leading-edge of semiconductor thermal measurement technology!
Benefits of the Phase 12 system include:
- 1 MHz data acquisition sampling (vs. 333 KHz for the Phase 10/11)

Phase 11 Upgrades
Phase 11 Thermal Analyzer systems may be upgraded to the current Phase 12 system with the addition of the Phase 12 Converter Module, and a new WinTherm PC. In addition, the original 'EXP-11' circuit module is replaced with a new and improved 'EXP-12' circuit module, greatly improving the quality and accuracy of junction temperature (Tj) measurements. Once this process is complete, the upgraded Phase 12 fully conforms to all the electrical specifications of a new system, and is fully compatible with all existing Phase 11 accessories, such as fixtures, and cabling. The Phase 11-to-Phase 12 upgrade is intended to be performed in the field by the end-user, and has been designed for ease of installation in mind. Phase 10 Upgrades
Phase 10 Thermal Analyzer systems may also be upgraded to the current Phase 12 system, but must be returned to the factory for this upgrade. The upgraded system is essentially a new Phase 12, with a minimum of components re-used from the original Phase 10 system. Once this process is complete, the upgraded Phase 12 fully conforms to all the electrical specifications of a new system, and is fully compatible with all existing Phase 10 accessories, such as fixtures, and cabling. The Phase 10-to-Phase 12 upgrade is a 'factory only' upgrade, requiring that the Phase 10 system be returned to our factory to complete the upgrade.
