CTE-360 Thermal Expansion Tester
The CTE-360 measures thermal expansion coefficients on wide range of materials over a temperature range of -20°C to 100°C. Although intended primarily for the study of materials used in electronic packaging applications, it can be used on virtually any solid, gel, paste, or viscous liquid over this temperature range.
Solid material test-samples are tested by directly inserting them into the cylindrical test chamber. They can be cylindrical or polygonal with maximum cross sectional dimension of 0.5 inches (12.5 mm) to fit into the test chamber. The nominal recommended sample length is 2 inches (50 mm) although this length is not critical and shorter samples can be used.

The Analysis Tech CTE-360 Tester does not require any external coolant or temperature forcing equipment. The included control software WinCTE runs on any PC or lap top with USB interface and Windows 7 or higher operating system.
Data is recorded in text files, Excel format files, and a variety of graphical data plots.
