Phase 11/12/12B Calibrator
The Phase 11/12/12B Instrument Calibrator is used to perform NIST traceable instrument calibrations on the Phase 11, 12, and 12B Thermal Analyzers, typically at 6 month intervals. The Calibrator facilitates a simple, ten-minute procedure for calibrating a thermal analyzer to within optimal measurement specifications. This precise instrument calibration ensures that the test data generated by the Thermal Analyzer will be of the highest quality and accuracy. The calibrated parameters include:
Heating-Power:
- All voltage and current measurement
Junction Temperature Sensing:
- Functional check of all temperature-sense channels
- Accuracy test of all channels at all sense current levels
Heating Power Control and Delivery:
- Complete scan of heating power delivery ports
- Test and alignment of all power control regulators
The Phase 11/12/12B Instrument Calibrator is a robust, precision reference unit that interfaces with the Thermal Analyzer heating power and junction temperature sensing connectors. This small unit can be conveniently returned to the Analysis Tech factory every two years for re-certification to NIST traceable calibration standards.
